The Hunger Banquet organized by the Interact Club was successfully held during lunchtime on 26th November 2016. This interactive event aims at bringing hunger and poverty issues to life.
Participants were divided into four groups. They were given exciting games and challenging tasks in which only one group would win a “rich meal” like pizza and hot chocolate. The rest had plain meals like a slice of bread. The students experienced how poor people live under hunger and hence they would be aware of the cruel uneven resource distribution problem. The participants found the activity very meaningful and were immensely inspired. The money raised will be donated to the World Vision.
